The road to Gdansk. . .

We stopped at a couple of car lots along the way and attempted to negotiate a deal on a replacement for Colin. Alas after careful thought it did not seem worthwhile due to the documents we would need to get for ownership and insurance. So we have another cunning plan lined up involving roller-blades!
The snails here are giants. Some even hitched a lift on bonnets and windscreens, sucking on tightly! Rogue Traders antics have had a heavy toll on their Range Rover. After reversing into another motor they managed to almost twist off their exhaust. Then about 500 yards from the hotel the rear propshaft snapped! It looked all over for them but they took off the offending piece, switched to 2-wheel drive and carried on. But their exhaust is now sheared at the front manifold so very noisy!
Arrived at the hotel on the outskirts of Gdansk at about 4pm. Lovely 4-star spa hotel with a pool, jaccuzzi, sauna, water slides and a bowling alley. We managed to make use of all the facilities before getting dressed and eating and getting the coach for town.
